AvianBioTech Moxiworm is a top-tier moxidectin product developed by a renowned avian veterinarian with over three decades of experience. This easy-to-use formula is safe for birds during the moulting period and effectively eliminates both internal and external parasites such as Air Sac mites, Scaly Face/Leg mites, and Ticks. Additionally, it targets Roundworm, Pinworm, Hairworm, Gizzard worm, and Tapeworm without causing any unpleasant side effects like vomiting. Available in two sizes, 50ml and 250ml, this product contains Moxidectin & Praziquantel.
For optimal results, dilute MoxiWorm in clean drinking water at the recommended dose rate and provide medicated water for 24 hours. Repeat treatment every 3 months, treating all aviary birds simultaneously. The dosage varies depending on the type of bird, with specific volume measurements provided for Hookbills (parrots), Pigeons, and Small Passerines (finches & soft bills). Individual pigeons should receive 0.25mL undiluted MoxiWorm per 500g bodyweight.
During treatment, ensure MoxiWorm is the sole source of drinking water and avoid medicating in very hot weather or direct sunlight. This product should not be used with unfeathered chicks in the nest and has a withholding period as it is not intended for food-producing animals. Store at room temperature to maintain efficacy.
