The Val-Pak V20-207 Pentair Whisperflo Diffuser 0.5-2.5 HP is a replacement diffuser part manufactured by Val-Pak for the 0.5-2.5-horsepower Pentair Whisperflo pump. The Val-Pak part number is V20-207 and the OEM part number is 072927. A diffuser functions by recovering pressure from the fluid velocity at the blade tips with each diffuser vanes increasing flow area to the liquid leaving the impeller which decelerates the liquid which then results to increasing pressure with minimal energy loss and this is ideal for pumping against higher pressures. This product is constructed out of reinforced, engineered plastic to ensure long-lasting performance and corrosion-proof efficiency.
