The factory Subaru timing belt guides are made out of thin and flimsy steel and have a limited range of adjustment. The Faction Fab Timing Belt Guides feature billet 6061-T6 construction and are engineered to better surround the timing belt. The result provides an additional range of adjustment to reduce the chances of a skipping belt along with a reduction in deflection if the timing belt does try to skip.
