Product Description

Milwaukee MI511-100 Free & Total Chlorine & pH Reagent Kit (100 Tests)Get complete pool and water quality chemistry in a single kit with the Milwaukee MI511-100 — 100 pre-made liquid reagent tests covering Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, and pH, all formulated specifically for the Milwaukee MI411 Free & Total Chlorine & pH Photometer. Two proven colorimetric methods in one kit: the industry-standard DPD method for free and total chlorine measurement (0.00–5.00 ppm), and the trusted phenol red method for pH measurement (6.5–8.0) — giving you a complete water chemistry snapshot with a single reagent kit and a single instrument.Key Features

3-Parameter Coverage: Measures Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, and pH — the three most critical pool and drinking water parameters in one kit

Dual Method: DPD colorimetric for chlorine (USEPA 330.5 / SM 4500-Cl G) + phenol red colorimetric for pH

Chlorine Range: 0.00 – 5.00 ppm (mg/L) free & total chlorine

pH Range: 6.5 – 8.0 pH units

100 Pre-Made Liquid Tests: Ready-to-use reagents — no preparation, no measuring errors

Expiration Date & Lot Number: Every test is marked for full traceability and quality assurance

MI411-Specific Formulation: Calibrated to the Milwaukee MI411’s optical system for maximum accuracy across all three parameters

Why This Kit?Pool water safety depends on the balance between chlorine disinfection and pH. Too little chlorine and pathogens survive; too much and swimmers experience irritation. pH outside the 7.2–7.8 range reduces chlorine effectiveness and causes equipment corrosion. The MI511-100 lets you monitor all three parameters with a single kit and the MI411 photometer — faster, simpler, and more cost-effective than buying separate reagent kits. How It Works

Free & Total Chlorine (DPD Method): DPD reagent reacts with chlorine to produce a pink-colored solution. Color intensity is proportional to chlorine concentration. The MI411 reads both free and total chlorine in ppm.

pH (Phenol Red Method): Phenol red indicator changes color across the pH 6.5–8.0 range. The MI411 measures the color photometrically and displays the pH value.

How to Use

Fill a clean cuvette with your water sample to the fill line

Add the appropriate MI511-100 reagent test for the parameter you’re measuring

Cap and gently mix until the reagent is fully dissolved

Wait for the color reaction to develop (per MI411 instructions)

Wipe the outside of the cuvette and insert into the MI411 photometer

Select the parameter (free Cl₂, total Cl₂, or pH) and read the result on the display
