Notes:
This battery REQUIRES the 'Onyx RCR XR Extended Battery Cover' and WILL NOT fit with the stock battery lid.
Very important: If you are using a stock controller and connector, please consider our 'Theia' or 'Theia XR' Onyx batteries for more range, as 'Octane 88' and 'Octane 96' are designed for a higher voltage controllers and can damage your stock controller and components. 'Octane 88' and 'Octane 96' are often paired with Far Driver controllers supporting 24S and 26S, respectively, but are compatible with other high-voltage controllers as well.
This battery contains two discharge cables intended to be connected to a dual terminal setup using QS8 connectors or QS10 connectors. While we have found that dual QS8 is adequate for power delivery, we offer dual QS10 for the electrical nerds as well! Although the Octane series batteries will still function if only connected with one discharge cable, it is not supported or recommended. Both discharge cables are required to not damage your battery or bike components.
