The NAD C558 turntable is an excellent entry- to mid-range component for those loving the nostalgia of vinyl, but who want the reliability of a new unit. The C558 features a double-thickness painted MDF plinth, an incredibly quiet, isolated DC voltage motor, and glass platter with felt pad.
The 9" straight tone arm is also lightweight and allows for both VTL and Azimuth adjustment, manually.
These turntables come equipped with a versatile and durable Ortofon OM10 moving magnet phono cartridge.
The hinged Perspex dust cover is designed to reduce resonances in and around the table, again for the quietest operation possible with the cover up or down.
