You could find that the middle part of the Softail seat is deeper than the stock seat if you see it from the side of the rider seat, and it's called a "deep bucket design”. This is the best seat for low riders or female riders as the deep bucket design could help the rider keep in position during the riding, and it also helps the rider reach the ground easily.
