Sponge Bar Plastic Tips. Sold in sets of 4 TIPS PER PACKAGE. These BRAND NEW OEM TIPS fit nearly all knitting machine needle retainer bars that use a metal backing but you must select which ones you need. There are enough tips in our package to rebuild 2 sponge bars. You will find these to be a necessary part of rebuilding your own sponge bars. When ordering, be sure to select the correct tips for your sponge bars. The Studio/Singer/Silver Reed tips have pointed ends, but most importantly, they are narrower than Brother Tips and will not work on the Brother/KnitKing sponge bars. Similarly, the Brother tips are wider than the Studio/Singer/Silver Reed sponge bar tips and will not fit on the Brothers. Call us at 866-463-8810 if you have any questions.
