To ensure the highest quality, be sure to rinse and soak the Sea Moss at least three times to remove any debris from the ocean such as sand and salt. After cleaning, soak the Sea Moss in fresh spring, alkaline, filtered, or quality water for 12-24 hours, adding lime or lemon to help eliminate any sea smell.
Once cleaned and soaked, blend the Sea Moss into a smooth consistency of your liking and store in a glass jar in the refrigerator. This DIY Gel can also be frozen for later use. Culinary uses include using it as a raw Vegan substitute for gelatin, thickeners, sauces, and in baking. It can be added to smoothies, juices, teas, or other beverages, or taken by the spoonful.
