Ammannia Gracilis, also commonly known as either Large Ammannia, Red Ammannia, Pink Ammannia, or Delicate Ammannia, is a stem plant, native to West Africa, with thin, elongated, and pointed leaves when grown submerged. It requires high lighting and CO2 in order to achieve vibrant red and pink colors, but can also thrive under medium lighting. However, it may grow to be more yellow or greenish in color. It's a plant that can be grown both emersed and submerged, hence it is a perfect candidate for nano pond aquariums or shallow tanks.
