For optimal results, we recommend painting the surface with a light or white background to enhance the image against the paper's transparency. Apply a layer of decoupage medium to the surface before placing the rice paper. If covering a large area, work in sections for best results. Once the paper is positioned correctly, apply another layer of glue on top.
Allow the top layer to fully dry before applying a second coat of decoupage medium or varnish. Avoid touching the rice paper when wet and use a soft brush with flat, wide bristles (golden taklon is recommended) for application.
