The Matala EZClear UV Pond Clarifiers are an essential addition to any Koi pond or water garden to combat green algae, harmful bacteria, parasites, and more. These clarifiers are designed to maintain a healthy pond ecosystem by suppressing sudden blooms of unwanted organisms that can disrupt the balance of your pond.

Available in 16W, 25W, 40W, and 75W options, these UV clarifiers can be used as a stand-alone unit or added to your existing filter system. The 16W model easily drops into the BioSteps filter, while the larger models require installation with the proper size pump and clear adapter for direct connection to PVC pipes.

Choose from the (Multi-Barb) option with universal barb connectors for flexible tubing or the (2" Union) option for easy installation into PVC pipes. Each model is suitable for ponds ranging from 1,600 to 10,000 gallons, depending on fish load, filtration, and sunlight exposure.

With flow rates ranging from 1600 to 5000 gallons per hour, these clarifiers use Philips T5 UV germicidal lamps and feature a high-grade Quartz Sleeve for maximum UV light transmission. The EZ quartz sleeve replacement "Locking Ring" makes maintenance a breeze, while the clear end cap and translucent hose tails provide easy monitoring of the UV light.
