While working as a stockbroker, he started collecting antique stock certificates and other financial services industry collectibles. He then began selling antique stock certificates through his firm, Investment Research Institute, and later, AntiqueStocks.com. He is the publisher of WallStreetNewsNetwork.com and Stockerblog.com, and has written numerous articles for various publications, including Friends of Financial History Magazine, the Bond and Share Society Journal, and Scripophily Magazine. Television appearances include CNBC, Fox Business News, and Globo TV. He has given speeches at the Museum of American Finance in New York City, The Money Show in both San Francisco and Las Vegas, California State University East Bay, and numerous other venues.
