OK Klipsch fanboys, here we have an amazing set of Series I Cornwalls that have been lovingly treated and with custom HQ wheels replacing the risers (orig risers come with) and with a striking Jacobean stain finish. These particular Cornwalls have a really rich presentation and play perfectly in that classic Klipsch lane. In the right size room and with the appropriate moderately powered valve amp, they are nothing short of magic. They excell with tube gears as the Tractix horn drivers can be scratchy with certain lesser quality SS amplification. They have tight impactful bass, creamy mids and sizzling highs that really bring you into the performance. We've been playing them here at the shop with an Octave, V40 tuber and feeding them a steady diet of live recordings. Eric Clapton, Bowie, Talk Talk, Eva Cassidy, etc and their ability to put you front row center at these shows is eerily great.
These classic Cornwalls have been gone through front to back here in-house by our expert speaker techs and they play to spec, (best testing set of Klipsch anything we've ever had) and are ready to partner with the right owner and right gears for many many incredibly satisfying listening seasions.
